In Fall 2019, StudentMoveTO conducted a large-scale survey of student transportation at ten post-secondary institutions across the GTHA. The goal of the survey was to better understand student travel patterns, experiences, preferences, and needs in a region with a variety of transportation options and both urban and suburban areas. Over 18,500 students participated in the survey making the resulting dataset the largest ever compiled.
The 2019 survey builds on the findings of an earlier StudentMoveTO survey conducted in 2015 at the four Toronto-based institutions and their satellite campuses (OCAD, Ryerson, University of Toronto, York). Click on the 2019 Summary Findings button below to access the 2019 Summary Report.
